Many industries are now challenged with accurately analyzing parts per million to part per billion levels of highly reactive gases that can catalytically react with or be absorbed when exposed to bare 316L stainless steel components.
CONCOA's SilcoNert 1020 coated products are specifically engineered to provide a superior inert surface that can virtually eliminate absorption and conversion of reduced sulfurs such as Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), Dimethyl Sulfide (DMS), that can be absorbed and catalytically converted when passed thru bare 316L stainless steel.
The CONCOA SilcoNert 1020 proprietary surface treatment is an amorphous Silicone layer that is bound in depth into the metal crystal structure of the underlying 316L stainless steel, such that the durability, corrosion resistance and inert treatment becomes part of the metal.
