Manufacturing Operations Manager

CONCOA, an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer of specialty gas equipment, is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager.  The Manufacturing Operations Manager will manage, direct and coordinate overall manufacturing and facility operations.  Through the development and management of manufacturing engineers, production supervisors and maintenance personnel, the Manufacturing Operations Manager will support the manufacture, assembly and shipping of CONCOA’s vast product line.

Key responsibilities for the position are as follow:

  • Ensure  that production and shipping objectives are met
  • Implement and support methodologies that improve production, cost, quality, safety and shipping
  • Oversee the maintenance of all plant buildings and equipment
  • Manage , supervise  and evaluate production and maintenance supervisors (leads) and manufacturing engineers
  • Coordinate with production control, engineering, quality, customer service, sales and marketing  and any other applicable department in the accomplishment of production goals
  • Develop, train, and assist appropriate personnel to enhance optimum productivity
  • Monitor production to ensure efficiencies are maintained
  • Comply and enforce company policies and procedures
  • Perform any additional related  duties


  • 4 year technical degree preferably in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Great communication skills both written and verbal
  • Exceptional computer and interpersonal skills

We are currently seeking an experienced Toolmaker.  The Toolmaker will manufacture, maintain, order, and issue cutter tooling as needed.  Key responsibilities for the position follow.


  • Use Engineering drawings, rough sketches, verbal instructions or manuals to construct components, parts and fixtures to very close tolerances
  • Repair fixtures and tools as necessary
  • Sharpen and manufacture cutter tooling
  • Make prototypes for Design and Development Engineering
  • Interact with manufacturing and engineering to make production tooling
  • Order and issue appropriate tooling
  • Coordinate calibration of applicable tools
  • Perform any additional related  duties


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in a similar metal working environment
  • Experience with Bridgeport mill, tool room lathe, surface and ID/OD grinders
  • Proficient use of intricate gauges and other measuring instruments
  • Advance blueprint reading skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Great communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent computer and interpersonal skills

Manufacturing Engineer
The qualified candidate must be capable of carrying out assignments associated with the manufacture of parts and all components of manufacturing processes. The preferred candidate will have a background in CNC and/or automation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Designing tooling and fixtures as required for processes
  • Performing necessary trials and tests required for new processes
  • Identifying and resolving efficiencies in processes and/or procedures
  • Initiating the requisition of necessary equipment, tooling, fixtures, etc. for the implementation of manufacturing process plans
  • Training and assisting production personnel in the implementation of manufacturing process plans
  • Participating in special projects as assigned


  • BS in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficiency in Mechanical CAD (Solidworks and/or AutoCad)
  • Great interpersonal, verbal and writing skills
  • Technically astute with sound knowledge of engineering practices
  • Working knowledge of MS Office software
