The single and dual-channel intrinsic safety barrier for pressure transducer products are essential components of intrinsically safe applications. The CONCOA single and dual-channel intrinsically safe barrier permits the safe operation of electrical equipment in hazardous areas by limiting the current, voltage, and total energy to a safe level. The CONCOA intrinsic safety barrier for pressure transducers controls the source of ignition, never allowing enough energy to make ignition possible. Creating an intrinsically safe environment is a superior method for hazardous locations since it prevents an explosion from taking place. Please note that intrinsic safety barriers have been validated only with CONCOA pressure transducers specifically intended for hazardous environments and CONCOA remote alarms, monitors, and controllers. This model is not intended for use with CONCOA pressure transducers for non-hazardous service or for use with CONCOA pressure switch gauges.
