The 580 Series Molecular Sieve Filter is designed for use in high pressure, high purity laser gas systems to prevent the possible introduction of oil, water, or other contaminants into lasing or purge gas streams. It is not uncommon to find varying levels of these impurities in some industrial gases and occasionally even in specialty carrier gases. The molecular sieve filter housing must be used in conjunction with the specially designed replaceable cartridges. Replacement cartridges 5801723, 5801733, and 5801753 are filled with various adsorbents, and replacement cartridge 5801743 contains a 5-micron sintered bronze filter element for particulate removal. The CONCOA 580 Series replaceable cartridge molecular sieve filter is useful in many industrial and laboratory applications where the introduction of moisture or contaminants may result in poor performance or equipment shutdown.
