The 502 Series Straight Purge is designed for use with high purity gases to ensure system integrity during gas source changes or the breakdown of components. The straight purge is connected directly to a regulator equipped with an auxiliary high pressure port to remove unwanted gases and water vapor contamination from the system. The purge gas is vented through the regulator body to a safe location downstream. Purging provides safety by allowing the user to start with and maintain a high purity gas stream, prevents the release of dangerous gases into the workplace area, prevents the mixing of reactive gases, and avoids wasting valuable system gases that might have originally been used for purging. The CONCOA 502 Series straight purge is designed to maximize effectiveness, safety, and efficiency while minimizing wastage. It is best suited to pressure cycle or dilution purging.
