The 580 Series Toxic and Corrosive Gas Detector provides effective protection for laboratories and confined workspaces where hazardous gases are used. A single generic controller is connected to a renewable sensor specific to a particular gas and measurement range. The sensor has a built-in microprocessor that stores gas, range, and calibration information. Sensor status is continuously monitored and is easily recharged or replaced. The universal CONCOA 580 Series toxic and corrosive gas detector is designed to work as a stand-alone monitor or can be integrated with the CONCOA 585 Series emergency shut-off controller or other programmable gas monitoring system.
- Plug and play sensor automatically inputs gas and measurement range into the universal controller
- Dedicated microcontroller in removable sensor allows sensor calibration and maintenance
- Built-in digital display shows type of gas detected and concentration in ppm, ppb, or percentage
- 90dB built-in audible horn activates when concentration levels go above the selected alarm thresholds
