Style 287 Cutting Tip

CONCOA Style 287 two-piece cutting tip is a heavy preheat tip with a low-velocity oxygen stream designed for cutting, gouging, grooving, and removing imperfect welds using propane or natural gas. It is angled at 15° for more visibility and better arc control while protecting the user from the high heat generated by the gouging process. To control the depth of a gouge, variations to the angle of the torch, the speed of travel, arc stretch, and amperage adjustments must be made. Style 287 cutting tip is compatible with CONCOA Series 3000, 9000, 9500, or 9700 hand-cutting torches.
