The Intrinsic Safety Barrier is an essential isolation device that ensures the safe use of electrical equipment with pressure switch gauges when using flammable gases or in hazardous environments. CONCOA single and dual-channel intrinsic safety barriers control the power source and keep electrical circuit energy below minimum ignition levels. By protecting against power surges and reducing the risk of ignition where potentially explosive gases are used, the CONCOA intrinsic safety barrier for pressure switch gauges protects both workers and the facility. Please note that intrinsic safety barriers have been validated only with CONCOA pressure switch gauges and remote alarms, monitors, and controllers. This model is not intended for use with CONCOA pressure transducers.
