Point-of-Use Solutions Engineered for any Laboratory Environment

Most modern laboratories require precision gas control systems from the source to the point-of-use. Since the purity of a gas can never be improved once delivered, analytical applications demand suitable equipment that ensures a high leak integrity pipeline to the instrument. Critical growth applications need rugged, reliable controls for difficult gases like carbon dioxide in larger life science laboratories. Furthermore, regardless of the scientific context, flammable, corrosive, and toxic gases necessitate specialized delivery systems to mitigate hazards throughout the facility. Well-known for its industry leading gas source equipment, CONCOA also provides complementary point-of-use equipment ranging from economical, single stage regulators to fully customized, built-to-order furniture-grade panels. As an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer, every CONCOA product meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Whether retrofitting an existing facility or designing a new laboratory, CONCOA confidently delivers point-of-use solutions that meet the challenges of any laboratory environment.

High Purity Point-of-Use Regulators

For smaller laboratories, CONCOA’s 300 Series single-stage regulators provide a reliable and cost-effective solution for point-of-use pressure control in high-purity gas distribution systems. Specifically designed to maintain gas purity, they feature stainless steel diaphragms and a helium leak rate of 1 x 10-8 scc/sec. Their multiple configuration and installation options provide precise pressure regulation for a broad range of laboratory applications. The 304 and 307 Series regulators, with chrome-plated brass barstock bodies, are suitable for non-corrosive, high-purity inert gases. For applications involving corrosive gases, CONCOA recommends the 324 and 327 Series regulators. Built with 316L stainless steel wetted surfaces, they are highly resistant to corrosion and chemical reactions. In terms of system layout, the rear-entry 304 and 324 Series regulators have a compact three-port configuration with opposed side ports for simple gas systems. For in-wall piping, the 307 and 327 Series regulators with four-port configuration, rear panel mounting, and bottom outlet routing provide increased installation flexibility. Unlike most pipeline equipment, CONCOA line regulators are rated to full cylinder pressure to ensure safe use in the event of primary pressure control failure.

CONCOA’s 400 Series single-stage regulators are intended for use in ultra-high purity applications that require the absolute minimum of contamination and the highest levels of system integrity. They feature metal-to-metal diaphragm seals, barstock bodies, and 1x10-9 scc/sec helium leak integrity to ensure gas purity in applications where even trace amounts of contaminants can compromise test results or product quality. For point-of-use pressure control of inert gases, the 403 Series regulator features a chrome-plated brass body for applications needing parts per million (PPM) resolution, while the 405 Series regulator, constructed with durable bare brass is suited for general high-purity gas distribution systems. When using toxic and corrosive gases, the 425 Series regulator ensures superior corrosion resistance and minimal outgassing and adsorption due to its 316L wetted surface area. With four-port configuration, including mirror image port assembly and options for front and rear panel mounting, CONCOA’s 400 Series regulators offer the most versatility in system integration. Rear entry versions are available, such as the 438 (chrome-plated), 435 (brass), and 445 (stainless steel) Series. As with all CONCOA regulator series, proprietary Capsule® Seat technology safeguards gas purity while delivering a significantly extended seat life.

Point-of-Use Panels

CONCOA’s 53, 54, and 55 Series Point-of-Use Panels provide a flexible alternative for final pressure control in settings with complex gas demands or those running multiple instruments supplied by a common gas source. To maintain the purity of instrumentation or process gases, the panels utilize 300 or 400 Series regulators equipped with a diffusion-resistant diaphragm shutoff valve on the outlet, ensuring a positive gas supply shutoff. Panels are configured with one to four regulators based on application needs. Users can select from five standard delivery pressure ranges for each regulator station and delivery pressure gauges are available in psig/kPa or bar/psig increments. The Point-of-Use Panels are suitable for use with research grade, ultra-high purity, and corrosive gases.

The 53 Series Point-of-Use Panel features CONCOA's 327 stainlessDual stack incubators supplied by 55 Series POU panel steel or 307 chrome-plated brass barstock regulators, while the 54 Series Point-of-Use Panel features the 445 stainless steel or 435 brass barstock regulators. These precision panels are designed for sensitive instrumentation, process, and calibration applications such as gas and liquid chromatography, EPA protocol standards, and high purity chamber pressurization, which require extremely reliable and accurate gas delivery for quality, safety and regulatory compliance. The versatile 53 and 54 Series Point-of-Use Panels can be configured with one to four regulators allowing a single panel to serve multiple applications. CONCOA’s 55 Series Point-of-Use Panel is designed to supply carbon dioxide and nitrogen to incubators. It utilizes dual 300 Series regulators to provide final line pressure control for one or two gases and individual isolation control for up to four streams of each gas. This advanced regulation capability ensures stable and accurate delivery to four individual incubators or two dual stack incubators from a single panel, streamlining gas management in sensitive cell growth applications.

5ZV Series High Purity Valve Box

CONCOA’s 5ZV Valve Box offers centralized management in high purity gas distribution settings that require local branch control for precise regulation or zoning to permit shut-off in isolated areas. Zoning permits targeted maintenance, troubleshooting, or emergency shutdown of a specific zone without disrupting the entire lab. Installed upstream of gas panels or regulators, the valve box enhances system flexibility, efficiency, and safety. CONCOA’s 5ZV Valve Box is an ideal solution for centralized and controlled gas management in a range of environments including university laboratories, life sciences research, pharmaceutical facilities, and semiconductor manufacturing plants.
